Almost 100 skaters from Labrador City, Wabush and Happy Valley-Goose Bay are ready to compete at the 2026 Labrador Figure Skating Classic, hosted by the Snowflake Skating Club on Saturday, January 17, and Sunday, January 18, at the EJ Broomfield Arena in Happy Valley-Goose Bay. For many participants, the event offers an opportunity to showcase their programs to officials, family and friends in preparation for the upcoming Skate NL Provincial Championships 1 & 2, set to take place throughout February. Volunteers from the Snowflake Skating Club are looking forward to welcoming the skating family to their rink and invite everyone to drop by and enjoy some great skating!
