Skate NL is the Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) for figure skating in Newfoundland and Labrador and is a proud member of Skate Canada. With a rich history of over 60 years, our network of skating clubs and schools in 30 communities across the province is committed to delivering top-quality, nationally standardized learn-to-skate, power skating and figure skating programs. Our skating programs are led by Skate Canada professional coaches certified through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).

We provide developmental and competitive opportunities for approximately 5,000 members, including recreational, adaptive, and competitive skaters, coaches, officials and volunteers. At Skate NL, our main priority is to provide and support a positive skating experience for all members in an environment that inspires everyone to experience the joy of skating. We achieve this by delivering high-quality skating programs and events that prioritize skill development, fun, inclusivity, personal growth and wellness. We take great pride in celebrating the remarkable achievements of all our members.
